October 24th was a planting party with 350.org

 We were able to plant 150 native plants and remove a truckload of invasive weeds. Thanks to all the volunteers who came out and to the Washington Native Plant Society for the funding of the plants through a stewardship grant.

     After planting, volunteers attacked a new site taken over by ivy.

The piles were later hauled off by the Everett Parks and Recreation       Department to their composting facility.
